Qatar isn’t managing the World Cup well, and the nations don’t have the confidence to bring people together in a tournament which unites cultures and peoples.
Another accusation was levelled at the host nation, making it the worst World Cup ever. Amjad Taha is a Saudi Arabian strategic political affairs expert who also serves as the regional director for the British Center. In exchange for the match against Qatar, he claimed that Qatar had bribed eight Ecuadorian footballers $7.4million.

This will be a huge setback for football, as FIFA is encouraging corruption instead of growing. The Qatari authorities’ treatment towards spectators from other nations will be obvious once the World Cup starts.
It is not yet clear if the claims are true. The matter has not been addressed by the Qatar Football Federation or the government.

The World Cup begins on Sunday 20 November with the Group B opener between Ecuador and Qatar.
