Erling Haaland premier league goals

Erling Haaland Could Break Premier League Goals Records

Erling Haaland is aiming for the same goal total as Sergio Aguero’s 34 Premier League goals in a single season. He has three Premier League hat-tricks to his name, which would put him on a par with the Argentine. But, before he reaches that landmark, he must finish the rest of the season. That means he must reach the target in the last eight games of the season.

Haaland has the physical height and aerial ability to be a dangerous threat down the left-of-centre channel. This is reflected in his goal ratio of one goal to 1.4 shots on target. However, unlike the rest of his teammates, Haaland tends to make fewer touches, dribbles, and final-third passes compared to other forwards.

The Norwegian international joined Manchester City in the summer of 2022 and has already scored 19 Premier League goals in twelve games. It is also possible for him to register a hat trick in four consecutive home games this season, if he keeps up his current pace. The Norwegian is only two metres tall but possesses lightning-quick footwork.

In addition to scoring goals in all competitions, Haaland has also scored in four of his away matches. His goal total is expected to reach 63 in a season, which would be a record if he continues to score at his current rate. This number would be more than double the totals of Mohamed Salah and Andy Cole in the same number of Premier League games. However, it is unlikely that Haaland will reach this goal total in one season, given the way he has teamed up with other players in the league.

Haaland is a highly valued player in the EPL. With an average of 1.67 goals per game, he is expected to surpass Dixie Dean’s record of 60 goals in the 2022/23 season. While Haaland is not the most gifted player in the world, his impressive athleticism and superb technique make him a valuable addition to any team.

If Haaland continues to score at the current rate, he could well break the Premier League record set by Alan Shearer and Andy Cole in 1993/94. He would also surpass Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League goals in fewer than four seasons. But, breaking that record will be difficult in the modern game because of Pep Guardiola’s tendency to experiment and rest players regularly.

Despite being a prolific goal scorer, Erling Haaland is still only 21 years old. He was born on 21 July 2000 in Leeds and signed with Manchester City this summer. The German international has a EUR60 million release clause and has already scored 19 Premier League goals in twelve appearances.

Despite his young age, Haaland has scored in all competitions this season and is aiming for more records. His latest 15 Premier League goals are not his only targets this season, as he added two against Copenhagen in a 5-0 win.
